Marketing agency targeting fashion, e-commerce and more

Electric Eye was featured in an article on Columbus Business First, written by Dan Eaton.


Electric Eye has worked with musician Michelle Branch and with the Black Keys. The duo worked on the website for the Akron-born two-piece band that now calls Nashville home.

How? Khemsurov is an old friend of Mike Carney, brother of Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney, who made the connection. The band handles all of its own merchandise and sells through its website.

“Merchandise used to be signed off to third parties,” Clymer said. “But as the music industry shifted, more bands are taking that back as a revenue stream.”

Electric Eye sees that work more as a fun side project than a long-term channel.

“We like having direct access to the owners and decision-makers,” Clymer said.
