Betsy Boo's Boutique is an online-only boutique that was started in 2012 from Betsy's basement. Although she began Betsy Boo's as a "hobby", it quickly became more as Betsy found trendy boutique clothing at reasonable prices and everybody caught on to her fashion sense.

Betsy Boo's Boutique has grown quickly since starting in 2012 and Betsy continues to strive to find trendy, stylish, affordable options for all of her followers across the United States. She gets most of her clothing from the fashion districts of LA and NYC- although she has found some fun vendors in the middle of the country too.

The Problem

Being a Shopify Plus store, Betsy Boo’s Boutique was already a well established brand with a loyal following seeing great successes in email marketing. Automations and campaigns both were driving significant sales. However, when Electric Eye stepped in to design and develop a new online presence, Betsy also challenged the team to see that she was using email to its fullest potential; a tall task for an already successful aspect of the business.

Electric Eye carried out a complete redesign on all email marketing for Betsy Boo’s Boutique in order to match the elevated new store design. Existing automations were optimized and several new custom automations were built out to increase customer retention and drive repeat purchases. The results demonstrated a massive increase in both highly-targeted email sends as well as revenue that could be directly attributed to the new automated emails.
