The Problem
Darby Creek Trading was in the hands of new ownership that wanted to invest in the online business. The new team understood that the website was extremely out of date and not capturing as many sales as possible. Also, the basic mechanics of paid media and retention marketing were not in place when the business was handed over. There was a clear market for the products and a captive audience, even with a lackluster customer experience. The team was looking for a technical partner that could fill in the knowledge gaps and expertise with the new endeavor.
The Solution
Electric Eye worked with Darby Creek Trading to create a simplified Shopify theme design. With their expansive product catalogue, a focus was placed on navigation. A new color palette was created to capture the seasonal feeling of the brand and connect with its customers. Once the foundation was in place, they were able to turned up the gas on marketing efforts. With a revamped automated email marketing system with Klaviyo and a solid social advertising strategy, Darby Creek Trading were able to experience explosive growth.
