Audience
Primary Target: Direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, Shopify store owners, and digital marketers.
Experience Level: From novices to experienced professionals in digital marketing and e-commerce.
Tone & style
Informal but Educative: Write as if explaining to a friend but with the depth and clarity that educates.
Avoid Sales Messaging: Focus on providing value and insights without pushing products or services.
Be Authentic: Speak from experience, use real-world examples, and don't shy away from sharing what works and what doesn't.
Topic Relevance
The guest blog should be relevant to e-commerce, online retail, Shopify, or related fields. This could include how-to guides, tips and tricks, case studies, industry trends, and thought leadership pieces.
Original Content
The content should be original and not previously published elsewhere. Any plagiarized content will not be accepted.
Length of Article
The blog post should be a minimum of 800 words, ideally ranging between 1000 to 1500 words for comprehensive coverage of the topic.
Quality
The article should be high-quality, well-researched, and provide valuable information to our audience. It should be free from grammatical errors and typos.
Ethical Considerations:
No Plagiarism: Content must be original and properly attribute all sources.
Transparency: Clearly disclose any affiliations or potential conflicts of interest.
Formatting
The article should be well-structured with appropriate headings, subheadings, bullet points, and paragraphs to improve readability.
Visuals
Use Relevant Images: Include high-quality, relevant visuals that enhance understanding.

Links
You are allowed to include a limited number of relevant outbound links in your article. However, any links deemed promotional or irrelevant will be removed.
Content Structure
Introduction: Clearly state the problem or topic being addressed.
Body: Use subheadings, bullet points, and short paragraphs to make content easily digestible.
Conclusion: Summarize key takeaways and encourage engagement or further reading.

The guest post should remain exclusive to our site for a specified period, and should not be republished on other sites during this period.
Placement
The blog article will be published the Electric Eye website. We will also send an excerpt and link to the article in our weekly newsletter, which has 2000+ subscribers. We’ll also share to relevant social accounts.
Deadline for Submission
None. We will publish within a week or two of approval.
