Summary

Michael Malul London is a luxury fragrance brand delivering sophisticated, high-quality scents at an accessible price point. With a growing direct-to-consumer presence and a loyal customer base built around discovery and repeat purchase, the brand needed a Shopify foundation built to scale and a migration partner who could get them there without disruption.

The Problem

Michael Malul London had outgrown WooCommerce. Managing inventory, fulfillment integrations, and marketing tools across a WordPress-based stack had become increasingly complex and fragile creating bottlenecks that slowed the team down and put the customer experience at risk. With growth on the horizon, continuing to patch an aging infrastructure wasn't an option. They needed a clean move to a platform purpose-built for DTC commerce.


The Solution

Electric Eye led the full migration of Michael Malul London from WooCommerce to Shopify. The migration included historical data transfer, 301 redirects, and full continuity for their marketing and customer service stack including Klaviyo, Gorgias, and Loop Returns. A custom bundle builder was developed to support the way Michael Malul London sells fragrance sets, allowing customers to mix and match configurations in a single, intuitive purchase flow. Custom collection pages were also built to surface product variants directly in the browsing experience, reducing clicks to purchase and keeping discovery frictionless. Post-migration, additional work was completed to ensure the storefront was set up to perform: an upsell module was added to the PDP, Sold Out + Notify Me functionality was surfaced on collection pages, a Last Chance page was built to drive urgency, and Klaviyo flow links were updated to reflect the new domain.
