Thanks for reaching out to Electric Eye. Just to make sure we're on the same page, Electric Eye is good at two things: designing amazing Shopify themes and optimizing existing stores. This is mostly front-end design and development. We do not offer marketing or advertising services.
Most clients start with a Shopify Diagnostic or Migration Blueprint to validate what we're planning to do together. From there, we work with clients in two ways: either we're designing a new theme as a project, or we're improving an existing theme on retainer. We do not have an hourly rate or take on hourly work.
Here are the typical steps to getting started:
1. Intro Call-> 2. Some Discovery -> 3. Statement of Work -> 4. Project / Retainer
The first step is an intro call, which you have already scheduled. The goal of the call is to see if we are a good fit to work together. During the call, we are going to discuss:
- History of the brand
- Goals of the project
- Who will be involved
- Timeline requirements
- Investment budget
If we're a good fit, we'll do a bit of discovery work before creating a Statement of Work. To do that, we'll need access to your existing store and this discovery brief filled out.
